1. Introduction

M/s Ujjal Ray (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a provider of solar energy solutions, including but not limited to On-Grid Solar Systems, Solar Panels, Inverters, and related maintenance services, operating primarily in North Bengal.

2. Services and Consultation

• All initial site surveys and consultations are subject to scheduling availability.
• Energy generation estimates and payback periods (e.g., “3.5 – 4.2 Years”) provided on our website or during consultations are approximate. Actual solar generation depends on weather conditions, roof orientation, grid stability, and shading.

3. Subsidies and Approvals (PM Surya Ghar Yojana)

• We assist customers in applying for subsidies under government schemes like the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and coordinating with WBSEDCL for net-metering.
• However, the final approval, disbursement of subsidy amounts, and grid interconnection timelines are strictly at the discretion of the respective government bodies and distribution companies (DISCOMs). M/s Ujjal Ray is not liable for delays or rejections by these authorities.

4. Pricing and Payments

• Prices listed on the website (e.g., “Starting at ₹50,000”) are indicative base prices and are subject to change based on site conditions, system capacity, and custom requirements.
• A customized, detailed quotation will be provided after a technical rooftop survey.
• Payment milestones (advance, upon material delivery, and post-commissioning) will be clearly outlined in your final project agreement.

5. Warranties and Replacements

We supply Tier-1, ALMM & BIS-approved equipment. Warranties are provided directly by the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs):

• Solar Panels: Typically carry a 25-year linear performance warranty.
• Solar Inverters: Standard warranties apply (e.g., 10 years replaceable, depending on the brand).
• M/s Ujjal Ray will facilitate warranty claims with the manufacturer, but we are not the direct guarantors of the equipment lifespan.
• Damage due to natural disasters (force majeure), unauthorized tampering, or grid voltage surges beyond inverter tolerances are generally not covered under warranty.

6. Maintenance and Liability

• Low Maintenance, Not Zero Maintenance: While our systems require low maintenance, customers are responsible for the routine cleaning of solar panels to ensure optimal power generation.
• M/s Ujjal Ray shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from power outages, grid failures, or roof damage unless proven to be caused by gross negligence during installation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, graphics, and text on this website are the property of M/s Ujjal Ray. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of this material is prohibited.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dinhata, West Bengal.
